About Us

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

NextGen Debaters India is a student-founded and student-led debate academy committed to making high-quality debate training accessible, inclusive, and affordable for all. Built by three internationally recognized debaters—Anoushka Tandon, Suhaani Jain, and Prahlad Madhu—our platform is designed to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.

We don’t just teach debate. We create a space where students discover their voice, challenge ideas, and develop the confidence to lead—in classrooms, communities, and careers.

Mission and Vision

One Argument at a Time

Our mission is to democratize debate education by building a space where every student, regardless of background or experience, can access professional training, real-time mentorship, and competitive exposure—without the barriers of cost or elitism.

We envision a generation of young Indians who think critically, speak confidently, and engage thoughtfully with the world around them. Through debate, we’re nurturing a culture of dialogue, empathy, and intellectual curiosity—skills essential not just in competitions, but in life.

Our Story

NextGen Debaters India began as a shared vision between three passionate high school debaters—Anoushka Tandon, Suhaani Jain, and Prahlad Madhu. Having experienced the transformative power of debate, they also recognized the barriers many students faced: high costs, limited access, and lack of relatable mentorship. They saw an opportunity to change that.

What started as casual mentoring sessions soon evolved into a growing academy grounded in a simple philosophy: debate should be accessible, affordable, and peer-driven. Unlike traditional institutions, our training is led by students who’ve competed and excelled at national and international levels. We believe students learn best from those who understand their journey firsthand.

Over time, our platform grew through word-of-mouth, fueled by student success stories—shy speakers turned confident leaders, newcomers becoming finalists, and learners gaining lifelong skills. Today, NextGen Debaters India is not just a training hub—it’s a vibrant student-led community that hosts tournaments, offers multi-format coaching, and empowers the next generation of critical thinkers.

At the heart of it all, we remain committed to one goal: making debate a tool for everyone—not just the outspoken, but for anyone ready to find and use their voice.

What sets us Apart?

What started with a few students has now grown into a vibrant and diverse community of young debaters from across the country. Whether you're preparing for your first inter-school MUN or your tenth international BP round, you'll find a home here—a place to learn, grow, compete, and belong.

Student Led Expertise

We are run by debaters, for debaters. Our team has represented India and won accolades at the world stage—now, we bring that experience to your screen.

Multi-Format Training

From British Parliamentary and World Schools to MUN, Public Forum, and Policy—we teach it all, tailored to student needs and goals.

Affordable and Accessible

We keep our prices low and our standards high—because talent shouldn’t be limited by affordability.

Meet The Team

Hi! I’m Suhaani, co-founder of NextGen Debaters India and a Grade 11 student at Aditya Birla World Academy, Mumbai. I began my MUN journey in 6th grade, and since then, public speaking has become a true passion—from winning at HMUN India to chairing committees and mentoring 200+ middle schoolers through my school’s MUN Club.

Debate, to me, is about more than winning—it's about listening, leading, and learning. I co-founded NextGen Debaters to create an inclusive, inspiring space for students to grow as speakers and thinkers. Beyond debate, I’m also an artist with a keen interest in finance and business—fields where strategy, clarity, and confidence matter just as much.

Hi! I’m Ajooni, the head of marketing at Nextgen Debaters India and a 10th-grade student at Kunskapsskolan Gurgaon. I started doing MUN in 8th grade and immediately fell in love. I had the opportunity to represent an entire country at a diplomatic level, debate with people of the same passion and meet all kinds of individuals. Staying up late drafting speeches and debating with delegates over which moderated caucus to keep, only to have it all change during the next day’s unmoderated caucus—was, is, and always will be my favorite part of MUN.

I am truly proud, grateful, and excited to be working not only with this incredible company and team but also with all of you debaters
